Nope, not at all! We've trained complete beginners who couldn't do a single pushup and turned 'em into absolute beasts. Everyone starts somewhere, right? Our trainers are really good at scaling workouts to your current level. Whether you're picking up a foam battle-axe for the first time or you've been lifting for years, we'll meet you where you're at and push you from there.

Just comfortable athletic gear that you can move in. Some folks go full cosplay with our medieval vibe, which honestly is pretty awesome, but regular gym clothes work perfectly fine. Good athletic shoes are a must though - you'll be doing a lot of dynamic movement. We've got lockers and changing rooms, plus we sell some cool Runevorn-branded gear if you wanna rep the realm.

Absolutely! We offer a free trial session for anyone who's curious. You can try out one of our group classes or do a one-on-one intro session with a trainer. No pressure, no sales pitch - just come see if the vibe works for you. Most people end up hooked after the first session, but we get it if fantasy-themed fitness isn't your thing. Just hit us up and we'll get you scheduled.

So basically we turn your fitness goals into "quests" with specific milestones and achievements. Instead of just saying "I wanna lose 20 pounds," we create a storyline around it with checkpoints, rewards, and leveling systems. It's way more engaging than traditional personal training. Your trainer becomes your quest guide, tracking your progress, adjusting the difficulty, and celebrating your wins. It sounds gimmicky but honestly? It works really well for keeping people motivated long-term.

Ha, no way - everything's weighted foam or specially designed training equipment. Safety first, always. But don't let that fool you - the workouts are still brutal. Swinging a weighted battle-axe replica for a 45-minute cardio class will destroy your shoulders and core in the best way possible. We've got foam swords, weighted maces, battle ropes styled as dragon tails, all kinds of stuff. It's safe but still challenging as hell.

Yeah, we've got a decent-sized lot behind the building that's free for members and visitors. There's also street parking along Dragon's Gate Boulevard that's usually available except during peak evening hours. If you're taking transit, we're about a 5-minute walk from the main bus stop. Pretty easy to get to from anywhere in Vancouver.
